Türk Telekom, mevcut internet hızını 8 kat artıran VDSL2 hizmetini bugün itibarıyla sunmaya başladı.

Türk Telekom'dan yapılan açıklamaya göre, gerekli tüm alt yapı hazırlıklarını tamamlayan Türk Telekom, mevcut telefon hatları üzerinden internette erişim hızını 8 kata kadar artıran VDSL2 hizmetini 1 Temmuz 2008 tarihinde internet servis sağlayıcı aracılığıyla kullanıcılara sundu.

Türk Telekom'un söz konusu yatırımı sayesinde Türkiye, VDSL 2 teknolojisini ilk kullanan sayılı ülkelerden biri haline gelirken, VDSL2'nin 32 megabite varan hızı ile Türkiye, Avrupa'da 23 ülkedeki 190 DSL Sağlayıcısı arasında DSL teknolojisiyle en hızlı interneti kullanan üçüncü ülke konumuna erişti.

Açıklamaya göre VDSL2, Triple Play denilen ses, görüntü, hızlı internet üçlüsünün bir arada sunulması için tasarlandı. Böylece VDSL2 ile yüksek hızlarla alınabilecek internet televizyonu yayını (IPTV), HDTV, Videofon, VoD (isteğe göre video izleme), interaktif oyun oynama, interaktif oylamalara katılma VoIP (ses görüşmeleri) gibi katma değerli hizmetler sağlanabilecek.

Türk Telekom VDSL2 teknolojisini 16 megabit ve 32 megabit indirme hızı olmak üzere iki paket seçeneği ile sunuyor. İki pakette de yükleme hızı 1 megabit olacak. İnternet kullanıcıları VDSL2'ye aylık 16 megabit için 129 YTL, 32 megabit için 169 YTL ödeyecek.

Buna göre 700 megabit büyüklüğündeki bir VCD filmi saniyede 4 megabitlik internet hızıyla bilgisayara indirmek 29 dakikayı bulurken, 32 megabite hızındaki VDSL2 teknolojisiyle 4 dakika sürecek.

Türk Telekom altyapı sağlayıcısı olarak ADSL hizmetinde olduğu gibi VDSL2 hizmetini de toptan olarak internet servis sağlayıcılara sunuyor.

Türkiye'de kablonun elverişli olduğu şehirlerde sunulan VDSL2 hizmeti ilk etapta 73 il 450 lokasyonda verilecek.

İngiltere'de Liverpool formasını giyen Harry Kewell ile 2 yıllık anlaşma sağlandığı ve Avustralyalı oyuncunun bugün İstanbul'a gelerek sağlık kontrolünden geçtikten sonra imza atacağı öğrenildi.

Galatasaray Futbol Komitesi üyesi Haldun Üstünel GS TV'ye yaptığı açıklamada ise transferin hikayesini şöyle anlattı...

Bizim için Galatasaray için hem tecrübesi hem kalitesi hem de Avrupa deneyimi ve kariyeri boyunca Premiere League gibi üst seviyede bir ligde oynaması tercih nedenimiz oldu. Yarın akşam saatlerinde Kewell ile birlikte İstanbul'da olacağız. Galatasaray camiasına hayırlı olmasını diliyorum.

Bu transferle birlikte 2000 yılındaki başarıyı tekrarlayarak onun için, gerekli transferleri yapmak için elimizden gelen tüm çabayı gösteriyoruz.

HARRY KEWELL KİMDİR?

29 yaşındaki yıldız futbolcu 1995-2003 yılları arasında Leeds United'da forma giydi. Bu forma altında 232 karşılaşmaya çıkan Avustralyalı futbolcu 63 gole imza attı. Bu başarılı performansının ardından Liverpool'a transfer olan Kewell 137 karşılaşmada 16 gole imza attı. Başarılı futbolcu 2007-2008 sezonunda sakatlıklar nedeniyle sadece 13 maçta forma giyebildi.

Originally stated to be an X-box launch game, numerous delays pushed back the game from November 2001 to February 2002. Due to a recent string of lawsuits directed towards the WWF blaming the company for youth injuries, the game's blood effects were removed. In earlier builds of the game, wrestlers would bleed realistically from different body locations, and drip blood on the mat, which would remain there and darken to a brown color as time passed. The PC version of this game can be modded. This means that it can be modified and updated to the players liking.
